My favorite Western restaurant food in Melbourne

Melbourne is a lucky city for its varieties of restaurant food worldwide.

Regarding western Food, Lygon Street is the most famous for Italian Cuisine which attracts hundreds of tourists including locals each year, cheap nfl jerseys, the one I went to the most is CafĂ© Cavallino which was introduced by my Aussie friend: Gourmet salmon pizza, gourmet home-made chicken & avocado pasta, or seafood pasta, the texture of home-made pasta is supreme.   I will never feel bored for creamy garlic prawns served with rice which is made of white wine, cream sauce, garlic, parsley and basil. Yummy!!! Their dessert is absolutely gorgeous.

Spaghetti Tree is a very elegant old restaurant, while eating in this traditional restaurant, you can enjoy live piano music which is playing by one musician, who can play a few instruments as well. On the wall, there are heaps family photos from 1930s. I love their maroccan lamb salad very much, it’s a must every time I go: grilled lamb marinated in moroccane seasoning, served with couscous, tzatsiki, cherry tomatoes, red onion, sultanas, pine nuts, parsley, mint, mixed lettuce and sprinkled with crumbled feta cheese, dressed with olive oil and lemon juice, cheap snapbacks, how wonderful the ingredient. I can’t miss it.

I also like Greek food, there’s one called Stalactites, opens 24 hours a day, which is quite unusual in Melbourne, it’s always in a queue to be seated. Mixed dips and pita bread is for share, mixed souvlaki adds a particular favour, homemade bean soup would be a good choice.

Teatro is a big modern well-decorated Spanish restaurant at south bank, you will get very excited for its colour. The Josper roasted Spanish sausage link, with marinated grapes, I will order it every time I go. If you like fried stuff,  then go for fritto misto, which is made of school prawns, baby squid, whitebait, orange salt, saffron aioli, yum. Well, if you have good appetite, then PAELLA for two, is one of the most typical one, eg, del mare: with tiger prawn, calamari, mussels, clams, blue swimmer crab, scampi

If you like fancy one for special occasions, then Eureka 89 restaurant, from 120 to 250 AUD more/ person, cheap replica oakleys, I only had once for my daughter’s birthday. I did enjoy very much for it first-class service atmosphere, it’s mainly for the stunning view on the 89th floor and fine food, one of the best in the world. It’s a tiny amount, to be honest, I couldn’t figure out what I was eating. Anyway, it is worth trying at least once in your life, which gives you an unforgettable experience. However, it must be pre-paid and booked in advance.

Well, for English tea, Miss Marple’s is really sought after as it sits at a tourist spot,- Mt. Dandenong, you won’t be surprise if you see people waiting in a queue for the door open at the early morning, it’s very famous. There are a few chapters for ordering. Chapter one is famous fingers, eg. fresh chicken, cheese & asparagus fingers, the second chapter is Pimlico pasties, open sandwiches is so fresh, super slimming smoked Atlantic salmon with salad, there’s Devonshire scones available with a pot of English tea is a must. The final chapter, dessert: Miss Marples’ Sundae Best”.  I can’t resist it from looking at a picture, wholesale nfl jerseys, never mind even if I gain weight.

I don’t know what is the most popular for Aussie food, probably BBQ, but I do enjoy big breakfast whenever I go for a day trip, I will have it with grilled bacon, eggs, mushroom, tomatoes, sausages etc.

For German cuisine, have a cup of German beer and sausages , pork hocks  is always a very big amount which i have to take half home. ( Not many westerners enjoy pork hocks as much as we Chinese do, but German people is exemption.

There are not many French restaurants in Melbourne, I am not a big fan for its raw beef, or snails, and I only had a few times.

If I go to the mountain area, I will definitely have beef steak. For seaside, fish & chips, or anything related to seafood, and I will always chose the restaurants with most people in it as it provides the freshest food cooked by professional chef.

There are lots of choices at Lygon Street, city area, south bank, docklands, St. Kilda beach, Chapel Street, and long the seaside or the tourist spots… you can enjoy as much as you like, cheap nfl hats, what a nice city for its wonderful food. This is one more reason I would like stay.
